Non-Destructive Testing

Both Fluorescent Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection are
utilized at Tpp. Our Inspectors are certified to Military and Aerospace
Specifications.  Our inspections are performed in accordance with
Government, Military and Aerospace specifications.

Fluorescent Dye Penetrant

• The liquid penetrant examination method is an effective means for
  detecting discontinuities which are open to the surface of nonporous
  metals and other materials.
  
  
• Texas Precision Plating uses the following methods:
  Type I, Method A   (Water Washable)
  Type I, Method B   (Post Emulsified)

Magnetic Particle

• The magnetic particle method of nondestructive testing is a method
  for locating surface and subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic material.
  
  
• Texas Precision Plating uses the Wet, Fluorescent method.
